A Northern Virginia native, Lauren Calve considers herself “a true DMV-er as I’ve lived in the three major DC Metro areas: DC, Maryland, and Virginia.” Starting with her days attending the open mic nights at the well-loved, but now defunct Arlington, VA live music haven Iota Club and Cafe, Calve quickly established a reputation for outstanding song writing with strong, soulful vocals and skillful playing. She released her debut EP, Between the Creek and the Tracks in 2014, for which she earned a Washington Area Music Association nomination for Best Roots Rock Vocalist followed by Light Dark in 2018 and Wildfire in 2020 that charted on both BDs and Media Base.
Jacob Bennett is a folk-rock singer-songwriter based out of Washington, D.C. His latest acoustic album, “Heathen,” (2022) explores gender identity, lost friendships, and weird art films. He released a self-titled acoustic album in 2020, and a full-band EP called “Downer” in 2021.
